About

Lucy Bird is an artist working in the intersections between sculpture, spoken word and painting. She explores the role of the unreliable narrator through both material and linguistic dissonance. The texture of a voice becomes a sculptural object, then a material surface begins to develops its own language.

Graduated with a MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, she has exhibited at The National Poetry Library Southbank Centre, been published by Pilot Press, and commissioned by UN Women UK. She currently lives in London and works as the Policy Manager at Art Fund.
